Sport Austria President Hans Niessl comments on Chancellor Karl Nehammer’s “Austria Plan” as follows: “We are very pleased that the Chancellor has also taken up the topics of sport, including the full rollout of the daily exercise unit and the sports facility offensive as the basis for a health offensive . This underlines the socio-political importance of sport. Regardless of how the next federal government is made up, we will push vehemently for the implementation of these demands because ultimately it is about achieving added value for the population.”
