PARIS
After what Real Madrid and Villarreal gave Spanish football a double joy on Tuesday, Manchester City and Liverpool, two giants of the English Premier Leaguecompleted the list of semi-finalists for the 2021-2022 Champions League, this Wednesday.
The ‘semis’ (first leg: April 26 and 27, return: May 3 and 4) are served and will have a double Anglo-Spanish duel on the menu: Manchester City-Real Madrid and Liverpool-Villarreal.
It is therefore possible that the final of the great European tournament, on May 28 at the Stade de France in Paris, be 100% Spanish, 100% English or a new pulse between teams from both countries.
