Champions League Draw – Reasons Liverpool Can’t Play Villarreal

BOLASPORT.COM – Liverpool did not meet Villarreal in the draw for the round of 16 Champions League 2021-2022 for several reasons.

Draw the round of 16 Champions League 2021-2022 has been completed at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, Monday (13/12/2021) local time.

The drawing process was marred by controversy due to an error in taking the ball in the draw involving Manchester United.

As a result, the drawing had to be repeated and carried out at 15.00 local time (21.00 WIB) which was previously done at 13.00 local time (18.00 WIB).

Each team has got their respective opponents in the round of 16 later.

The drawing went smoothly and there were no more technical errors like what happened in the first drawing.

However, questions arose during the draw for the sixth match which resulted in a match between Villarreal and Juventus.
