The Council of Ministers of African countries members of the African Guarantee and Economic Cooperation Fund (FAGACE), meeting on Friday, June 26, officially appointed the Chadian Ngueto Tiraïna Yambaye director general of this institution.
The choice was made on the selection of 70 application files. Former Chadian Minister for the Economy and the IMF Administrator Plan for Africa, Ngueto Tiraïna Yambaye was unanimously appointed. The technocrat, doctor of Economics, will use his 24 years of experience to properly pilot an institution active since 1977 in 14 countries. The choice also reflects a diplomatic victory for Chad through its Minister of Finance and Budget, Tahir Hamid Nguilin and President Idriss Déby.
