The SC Potsdam volleyball players are about to make it to the round of 16 in the European CEV Cup. On Tuesday evening, the Brandenburgers won the first leg against Ponta Delgada at home with 3-0 (25:15, 25:14, 25:18). The second leg against the Portuguese team from the Azores will take place on Wednesday, again in Potsdam.

Actually, the first leg should have been played on the island of Sáo Miguel in the Atlantic. In order to avoid travel stress, however, both teams agreed to play twice in Potsdam.
