Certainly 30 dead in severe weather in Brazil Abroad

The fatalities were caused by landslides and the collapse of houses due to flooding and heavy rainfall. Many roads are closed, electricity pylons and trees are blown down.

The Brazilian meteorological institute registered the heaviest rainfall in 24 hours in the area since the measurements started 110 years ago. Between 9 a.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday (local time), 171.8 millimeters of rain fell in the city of Belo Horizonte. The rain is expected to continue this weekend.
