Cemetery fees rise stately

The members of the city council are still concerned with the further development of the existing industrial park on the Dürrhoffeld. After the decision in principle in the previous meeting, the committee discussed the details of the road planning again. The aim is to meet the needs of the four or five interested parties with a version that is as adapted as possible.

Since there seems to be a lot in the balance here and the interests of individual applicants should first come up for further discussion, Mayor Sven Nickel interrupted the city council meeting for a 30-minute private consultation. As a result of this, the committee decided in the following public vote on several variants for the expansion of the planned roads A and D as well as a new spur road F.

Also larger building areas

The new cul-de-sac is to open up the area behind the Knüttel’s beverage specialties for a few smaller plots on both sides via the existing undeveloped path in front of the Zimmererteam Gessner GmbH commercial property, parallel to the slope. The length of the cul-de-sac was discussed differently and will probably be determined after the design planning and further coordination with interested parties. In any case, one should not only designate small commercial properties, but also have to provide larger building areas, it said in the discussion.

For the construction of the spur road, the development plan “industrial area Dürrhoffeld” is changed and the engineering office Auktor is commissioned with this work. This should also carry out and present the design planning for the new cul-de-sac as well as take on the subsequent implementation planning.

Funeral fees adjusted

The cemetery fees in Rieneck were last set in 2007 and will now be updated on December 1st. The service fees for the undertaker at the Rieneck cemetery increase significantly. According to Mayor Sven Nickel, what is new is the partial charging of the individual fees with administrative costs by the city of up to 15 percent. Only one offer was received for the services requested by the city from five undertakers. Bestattungen Joa GmbH (Wernfeld) continues to take over the sovereign service tasks at the Rienecker Friedhof.

The grave construction fees (excavation, closing, earth removal, preparation) increase, for example, from the previous 255 euros to 975 euros, with lowering it now costs 1150 euros. The fees for children’s graves will change from 105 euros to 390 euros and for urn graves from 85 euros to 185 euros. For the excavation and the coffin of a corpse, depending on the duration of the burial, between 1215 euros and 1470 euros are due. The “other fees” will also be increased.

The ten and 20 year grave usage fees remain unchanged for the time being. “However, a later recalculation is probably necessary because of the necessary inclusion of the costs for the completed cemetery renovation,” said the mayor.

The IG Customs and Culture e. V. emerged from the “Customs and Culture” committee of the city of Rieneck. For this reason the city of Rieneck “sends” the deputy chairman and two cash auditors to the association. Hubert Nickel, Lukas Küber and Silvester Krutsch again made themselves available for these functions.

Tactile ground guidance system

As part of the handicapped-friendly renovation of the community center, the committee awarded the contract to the company Amon Werbung (Würzburg) for the installation of a tactile floor guidance system (attention fields and step markings on the stairs) for almost 8,000 euros. The fire safety acceptance of the community center planned for October 28th could not take place on schedule due to missing documents, informed Sven Nickel.

“We have to have the sewer system monitored regularly every five years,” informed Mayor Sven Nickel. The councils therefore approved an engineering contract for the planning, monitoring and evaluation of a TV inspection by Auktor Ingenieur GmbH (Würzburg).
