The Syrian actress Karis Bashar celebrated the graduation of her only son, Majd, and documented part of the happy atmosphere through her Instagram account, and commented: “And we celebrated after we graduated with all love.”
Bashar appeared in the pictures accompanied by her son Majd, and another in a dancing atmosphere with family and friends who shared her joy.
For the occasion, the Syrian actress chose a “camel color” dress, which she coordinated with jewelry and light makeup, amid widespread praise for her look.
Colleagues of the Syrian artist and her audience also interacted with her in their comments on the pictures, directing her congratulations and blessings, as the actress Jumana Murad wrote: “My love, a thousand congratulations, may God make your heart happy in it too.” Jenny Esber commented: “Congratulations, God willing.” Heba Nour said: “May God bless you and protect you.”

This comes after the artist shared, a few days ago, clips from her son Majd Al-Jawad’s graduation ceremony, and she said, commenting on a photo she collected with Majd: “We graduated.”
It is noteworthy that Karis married businessman Shadi Jawad, and gave birth to him, Majd, and the couple separated in 2014.
In the artistic matter, the Syrian artist participated in the series “Fire with Fire”, which was shown as part of the Ramadan 2023 drama, in which she played the starring role, alongside her compatriot, artist Abed Fahd, and Lebanese actor George Khabbaz.
The events of “Fire with Fire”, a joint “Lebanese-Syrian” series, take place in a popular Lebanese neighborhood, where it sheds light on the issue of Syrian refugees in Lebanon and the great difficulties they face, and Karis played the character “Maryam”, the Syrian teacher who fled to Beirut and worked as a bread seller. And she was exposed to a lot of problems, especially racism.
