The trainers of the Galar region will be able to celebrate this new year as it should be in Pokémon Sword and Shield. A temporary event allows you to catch a Magicarpe shiny much more easily than normal.
The latest Game Freak additions to the Pokémon license have brought in lots of new species to capture. Nevertheless it is one of the oldest pokémon of the series which will draw the cover to him during these next days.
As you certainly know, Cadoizo accompanied the players during the Christmas holidays and invaded the Dynamax Raids by allowing you to collect kilos of Candy Exp. Now Magicarpe is the center of attention.

Magicarpe invades the Wilderness for a limited event
Present on the first Pokédex in the series, Magicarpe has always enjoyed a certain popularity with players, largely thanks to its evolution, Léviator. The latter has been on the team of many trainers for a long time and is not that difficult to obtain, especially in Pokémon Sword and Shield.

During this event, the Wildlands will be the perfect place to find your Magicarpe, its rate of appearance having increased in the Dynamax Raids. Better yet, players looking for its shiny version will be delighted, Game Freak having announced a strong increase in the chances of encountering one.
Indeed, during the entire duration of the event, the chances of encountering a chromatic version of Magicarpe will increase to 8%! An extremely high rate when you know that in normal times there is a 1 in 4096 chance of encountering one. Additional information, this rate does not vary according to the number of stars of the Raid, all players, whatever their progress in the adventure therefore have their chance.
Finally, these raids can bring you Maxi-nuggets for sale against hard cash.
