Ceará beat Corinthians by 2-1 at Castelão this Thursday night (20th), for the 35th round of Serie A of the Brazilian Championship. Vozão’s goals were scored by Vina and Yony González, with Roger Guedes decreasing for the São Paulo team.
With the result, Alvinegro climbs 8th with 49 points, increasingly firm in the fight for a spot in the Libertadores. The 8th place will give a place in the South American competition if Atlético/MG wins the Copa do Brasil in December.
In the next round, on Tuesday (30), Ceará will face Flamengo, at Maracanã, at 20:00.
