Cáceres will participate in the # PHEdesdemibalcón Festival organized by PhotoEspaña with the aim of creating a great collective project with images taken from the balconies and windows of citizens, and which will be exposed to the open air in some of the most emblematic places in the municipalities. attached.
In these moments, windows and balconies have acquired a new meaning are our contact with the outside world. We have discovered our neighbors through them, to communicate in a different way and also thanks to them we have been able to thank and encourage every day at 20:00 to all those people who have not stopped for a single second, and that they continue fighting against the Covid-19 so that little by little we can recover our routines.
For all these reasons, PhotoEspaña launches the online call # PHEdesdemibalcón. A photographic and participatory initiative to promote creativity and communication. The festival wants to invite citizens to use balconies and windows as their main sources of inspiration, and that they be the frames from which to test our photographic creativity.
It is an opportunity to deepen our way of looking, to rediscover our environment, our neighbors and even ourselves. Balconies and windows will become exhibition rooms in which to collectively share the individual views of each of the people of Cáceres and people from Cáceres. The exhibitions will mark the start of PhotoEspaña 2020 throughout the summer.
To participate, it can be done until May 17, just follow the PHotoEspaña account on Instagram (@photoespana_) and upload the photos to the individual profile of each person, adding the hashtags # PHEdesdemibalcón, # PHE20 and @photoespana_.
Likewise, to register participation, you must fill out the form on the web www.phe.es. The PHotoEspaña website will display a selection of the best participating images daily through a virtual gallery.
In addition, Acciona has decided to join this adventure as well and will present 10 prizes of 500 euros for the best photographs, selected by a jury of experts.
