The Lusail Stadium, site of the World Cup final, will host the Bollywood Music Festival on November 4th. The Bollywood music festival is part of the Darb Lusail Festival, which coincides with the inauguration of Lusail Boulevard, one of the tourist attractions of the city of Lusail. The Darb Lusail Festival is organized by Qatar Tourism from Thursday to next Saturday.
Singer Sunidhi Chauhan, famous singer of the Qawwali and Hindustan music scene, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, famous music composers and Bollywood brothers, Salim-Sulaiman, are coming to create a musical marvel on the soil of Qatar, in the final stage of the Cup of the world. Entry is limited to authorized Haya Card holders in Qatar who hold a World Cup ticket. The Supreme Delivery and Legacy Committee has informed that the music festival is also dedicated to people from South Asian countries, including India in Qatar. A large presence of music lovers is expected in the gallery.
This is also the last event to test the functionality of facilities such as Haya, Transport and Security at Lusail Stadium ahead of the World Cup. Tickets to attend the Bollywood festival can be purchased from the FIFA website. Sales are on a first come first served basis. The sale is in 4 categories namely 200, 150, 80 and 40 riyals. The first day of the Darb Luzail Festival also features famous artists from Kuwait and Lebanon.
