The Sanitary and Epidemiological Service reminded: when visiting a beauty salon, medical center or beauty salon, you need to pay attention to the sanitary condition of the premises. A cosmetologist must wear clean sanitary clothing and replaceable shoes, without artificial or extended nails. She should not wear rings, rings or other jewelry while undergoing a medical procedure. It is also worth paying attention to hand hygiene: a specialist should wash them thoroughly and treat them with an antiseptic. When performing manipulations, disposable medical gloves should be used (one pair per visitor).
For procedures that violate the integrity of the skin, it is necessary to use disposable sterile materials in original packaging or reusable instruments after disinfection and sterilization.
“Before visiting, we strongly recommend that you make sure that the organization has a special permit (license) for medical activities and that the employee has appropriate medical education,” the department notes.
