The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “As the North Korean border was blocked for more than a year, passenger transportation was stopped.” They traveled 32 hours by train and 2 hours by bus to arrive at the border of Naseon City, North Hamgyeong Province, pushing a cart along the railroad for about 1km and crossing the border of the Tuman River.
