Carmen Meléndez confirms that the radical quarantine continues in the Torres municipality. The rest of the state, Lara, will begin to relax the quarantine as of Monday, from 7 am to 1 pm.
The official stressed that by order of Nicolás Maduro the only municipality that will remain in radical quarantine will be Torres, the second jurisdiction with the most infections in the Lara state, with 32.
Of the 32 infections of COVID-19, 20 are from the Trinidad Samuel parish, where was the case number 57 that has caused another 19 infections of coronavirus in the LAra state.
Notably the municipalities at the national level that will remain in radical quarantine are bordering other states.
Meléndez indicated that on a visit to the city of Carora and in meetings with Edgar Carrasco, 11 sentinel centers in the municipality of Torres were provided with supplies for the care of patients with COVID-19.
Likewise, it indicated that the rains that occurred in the Aguedo Felipe Alvarado municipality of that municipality caused some landslides, however there were no serious reports, nor victims of the meteorological event.
