Car incentives 2023: which models can be purchased with the discount and how to get it

The car incentives. The law that regulated them provides for aid for the purchase of a new car every year for a three-year period between 2022 and 2024. The real novelty for 2023 is that 150 million euros are available for those who buy a car with emissions between 61 and 135 grams of carbon dioxide per km. These are cars with heat engines, petrol or small diesel, full hybrid or mild hybrid: the most popular in Italy, as demonstrated by market data which, for example, make the Toyota Yaris (in the photo) one of the top five cars for registrations. Not surprisingly, in 2022, the budget for this category sold out in a short time. Conversely, funds for electric and plug-in hybrids were severely underused: for cars 0-20 at the end of 2022, more than 127 million remained available, while for plug-in hybrids the figure exceeded 147 million.
