Capital Mill invests in the expansion of the Antalis logistics center :: Dienas Bizness

In cooperation with the developer and investor “Capital Mill”, the expansion project of JSC “Antalis” Logistics Center was opened in Stopiņi parish, Ropaž district.

The investor and developer of the project “Capital Mill” is an Estonian investment company that invests in the purchase of commercial real estate in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. The company manages several Baltic projects with a total asset value of approximately EUR 450 million. More than 51 million euros have been invested in the Latvian market since 2017. Capital Mill real estate development project manager Valdis Silnieks states that “Antalis” is an ambitious, stable and growing company, therefore we are happy to develop the current warehouse expansion and ensure our tenant with solutions that meet modern requirements.”

“Antalis” has been operating in Latvia for 29 years. The company’s team currently has 70 employees who provide operations in five sectors – papers, printing and office materials, hygiene products and solutions for public spaces, visual communication materials and equipment, as well as products, materials, equipment and solutions for packaging. The company has improved over time and always tries to be one step ahead of the expectations of customers and cooperation partners, therefore the expansion of the Logistics Center is the next step chosen by the company and the developer “Capital Mill”, which will open new opportunities in the expansion of the product range and availability to customers, especially in the perspective of packaging products. in the field of materials and solutions. The total area of ​​the warehouses of the logistics center will be 10,000 m², which will be provided by the additional 3,300 m² obtained.

The building’s builder “Mitt&Perlebach”, for whom this is the first project in Latvia in cooperation with “Capital Mill”, also participated in the opening event of the project. “We have been working on this new and modern warehouse project for some time and I am really pleased that construction has started. During the building design phase, our cooperation with Capital Mill has been very smooth and professional, and I believe that it will continue during the construction of the building. Despite the fact that there is still uncertainty in the construction market, I am sure that we will fulfill all obligations and hand over the building to the Customer according to the planned schedule,” explains Allan Mahkvei, head of “Mitt&Perlebach” in Latvia.

The construction of the expanded Logistics Center of AS “Antalis” will be completed by the middle of 2023.
