Canon EOS R3 is here in Indonesia, has fast performance

The camera’s electronic shutter promises a continuous shooting mode of up to 30 fps at full resolution, even when the AF and AE tracking features remain active.

After being officially announced globally last September, finally today (2/12) Canon EOS R3 officially announced in Indonesia. Entering the flagship class, the EOS R3 is a camera mirrorless full-frame The new EOS R series is expected to be the dream of sports, wildlife, and so on photographers. Dual Pixel CMOS AF II technology is expected to provide outstanding AF speed and accuracy. The EOS R3 also offers a very interesting cutting-edge feature, namely Eye Control AF. This feature allows the user to select the focus point using eye movements via the Electronic Viewfinder (EVF).

Canon says the Eye Control AF feature can also be used when the photographer is wearing glasses. Note, this needs to be calibrated so that the fixing of the focus point still performs accurately when using this feature.

With refresh rate up to 120 fps and 5.76 million dots on the OLED EVF provide users with the convenience of viewing shots with a natural look, as well as high brightness levels and a wide dynamic range. Users can also freely take pictures from various angles with the touch LCD Vari-angle 3.2 inches.

If users are not familiar with Eye Control AF, then there are also several options for autofocusing. Canon continues to develop the EOS iTR (Intelligent Tracking & Recognition) AF X with technology deep-learning. In addition to the Eye Detection AF and Animal Detection AF features, the EOS R3 has a new feature for shooting fast automotive action, namely Vehicle Priority AF.
