Canon USA is sued for multifunctional all-in-one PIXMA MG6320, MG5420 and MX860 printers with empty ink tanks they refuse to scan although no ink is needed. More than 2,000 users have complained about the problem, but Canon has told them that the ink cartridge needs to be replaced.
Similarly on the PIXMA MX710 and MX490 printers all color inks must be full, even if you only want to print in black and white. That’s why it was filed in New York last week class action against Canon USA, which seeks compensation of at least $ 5 million.
