“Cancer-Causing Culprits: 9 Foods Linked to Bowel Cancer”

Professor Alexander Syriakov, an oncologist, warned against eating certain foods, especially smoked sausage, pointing out that they increase the risk of bowel cancer by 18%.

He said that the most harmful products are smoked sausages and, in general, red meat, because they stimulate the development of cancer in (group 2a), so doctors recommend consuming them once a week.

He pointed out that excessive heat treatment of these meats leads to the formation of additional carcinogenic substances, the most dangerous of which in this case is smoked meat.

It was revealed that consuming 50 grams of sausages, salami and other similar products per day increases the risk of colon cancer by 18%.

He concluded by saying: “Excessive consumption of other products such as canned fish (Sprattus), biscuits, alcohol, sauces, popcorn, canned vegetables and fruits, artificial sweeteners and genetically modified foods all increase the risk of cancer, including bowel cancer.”
