The Bayern Munich player returned to Germany for treatment, the text said. Canada is scheduled to start the Gold Cup against Martinique on Sunday in Kansas City.
Davies, 20, has scored 9 goals in 23 caps since making his debut in 2017.
The Gold Cup is the equivalent of the Euro for CONCACAF (Confederation of North America, Central America and the Caribbean).
