2. Diabetics can eat watermelon

If the blood glucose level of diabetics is kept under control, that is, below 11.1 millimoles/liter, and the glycated hemoglobin is less than 7%, diabetics can consume a moderate amount of red watermelon, twice a day, for a total of 150- 200 grams.

Diabetics should avoid eating watermelon at three meals, having to eat between two meals, otherwise the glycemic load will be high. After eating red watermelon, diabetics should not eat other fruits on the same day.

3. Watermelon is not recommended for weight loss

In the summer, some people eat watermelon instead of food, believing that this method is beneficial, both to remove internal heat and to reduce body weight. Fruits are indispensable, but insufficient or excessive consumption is not healthy.
