Camilleri resigns, the toto-successor starts in Ferrari – Mondo Auto

The sudden resignation by Louis Camilleri have shaken the Ferrari environment: the now former CEO of the Maranello car manufacturer has decided to leave his position “for personal reasons”. At the moment his place has been taken by John Elkann, the President of the Prancing Horse, who will fill this role ad interim: it is therefore easy to think that Ferrari will soon be appoint a new CEO, given that the company’s commitments in the automotive field in view of 2021 are many and there is no time to waste.

Ferrari, Elkann: “Proud of Camilleri management”

And so the full successor has already departed from the benches of the Maranello headquarters: there are several names being examined by the Ferrari management who could take the place of the outgoing Camilleri. One of these is that of Davide Grasso, which has been COO of Maserati since last September. Ferrari is strongly intent on assuming a personality that has been hanging out in the automotive world for several years: among the many tasks of the new CEO of the Maranello car manufacturer there will be not only to take care of the sports management of the brand, but also to concentrate resources in the road production sector and keep an eye on the performance of the stock on the stock market. In the role of COO of Maserati we recall that Grasso deals with the commercial and financial results and the performance of the brand at an operational level in the various markets around the world.

Who are the members of the Ferrari Board of Directors

Grasso is obviously not the only name that Ferrari is considering. According to the latest rumors reported by Sky Sport in fact, the role of CEO of the Maranello company could be held by Alfredo Altavilla. A choice that could certainly fall on him because of his skills, but also for the relationship that the former Europe manager of the FCA group boasted with Sergio Marchionne before his death (it was his right arm at the helm of the Italian-American group). At the moment no other names are leaking that, certainly, will be under the magnifying glass of the Board of Ferrari: the wait for the appointment of a new CEO is growing.
