Two technicians, engaged in a fight over a woman, suffered a serious fall on Saturday.
Last Saturday, the pouring of a slab in the Pk 20 district (Douala V side) was interrupted by a fight between Pantaléon M., 44 years old, site manager, and César MZ, 37 years old, technician on the site. Object of the brawl, Marianne Octavie A., 33 years old. The two men came together from another region some time ago to manage the said site. As is customary in this area, a construction site attracts one or more restorers. Marianne Octavie therefore made food for the workers.
At one point, the site manager wanted to “eat” something else. He was served. Then, recently, a worker told him that Caesar had received the same favors. Pantaléon will discuss it with his colleague, who will say that this is not the case.
Last Saturday, on the construction site, we heard the manager complaining about not having seen Marianne Octavie the day before… Everyone is on the third level of the building under construction, about to pour a new slab, when the young lady comes. From below she calls Caesar, who comes down. His colleagues will see him recover his wallet and phone from the restaurateur. When he goes back up, Pantaléon, who also saw the scene and understood that his suspicions were well-founded, calls out to him. The technician does not allow himself to be intimidated and a fight breaks out, in front of witnesses.
According to statements made at the Pk 17 gendarmerie station, which was seized of the case, Caesar, at one point, pushed his rival into the void. But in his fall, the latter was able to grab him and took him with him. Both men were taken to hospital in a construction vehicle. Their condition, according to the latest news, is worrying (multiple fractures). Pantaléon, who is married and the father of three children, would be the more affected of the two.
