Cameroon :: Ahidjo, Biya, Kamto, Liibi Li Ngue, Osih, Introspection And Presidential Perspectives for 2025 :: Cameroon

For a good understanding of the development that will follow, we have chosen to consider the need to provide our country with all kinds of physical, moral and institutional infrastructure as part of the built environment, and, on the other hand, to give it a patriotic orientation. , as falling within the historical political perspective. So three questions to begin this important theme announced by the title.

Did Ahmadou Ahidjo live up to the building and the historical perspective? Is Paul Biya in turn up to the height of the building and the historical perspective? And, in case one of them is for 2025, will Maurice Kamto, Cabral Liibi and Joshua Osih be in turn up to the height of the building and the historical perspective for the next presidential election? For the future of Cameroon, it is now that we must ask ourselves these questions because as the adage says, whoever wants to go far must not only know his starting point and prepare his journey, but he must also take care of his horse.

AHMADOU AHIDJO

Contrary to what those think who compare his management of affairs not only to that of his African peers, but especially to that of Paul Biya, his successor at the head of the Cameroonian state, Ahmadou Ahidjo, who was in a to a certain extent to the height of the buildings, was on the other hand not up to the historical political perspective. The building in 1960 had two sides. The first concerned concretely the punctual management of the civil war situation which was born from the antagonistic contradiction that there was between, on the one hand, the supporters of maintaining the colonial order, and, on the other hand, on the other hand, the patriots of the UPC and allied political forces, in favor of the rupture. And, at the immediate end of this painful event whose outcome was unfortunately favorable to the reactionaries, in the second phase, the other side of the construction concerned the accounting, administrative and concrete material management of the new political entity. An entity which therefore, ontologically speaking, from the baptismal funds, because of its coming into the world in unpatriotic conditions, was therefore marked with the seal of a neo-colonialist political regime. But, beyond the agenda of infrastructural development of the territory, there was also the question of the historical perspective which posed the problem of the political future of Cameroon. In this register in fact, it was rather fundamentally a question of the nature of independence which would objectively condition all the rest of the construction, not to say the Cameroon building. And, from this patriotic point of view, we understand why following the bad manner, and, especially on the negative basis on which things had been initiated on the historical political level, the disastrous face that presents today Cameroon today had been announced and was predictable.

PAUL PAID

Is the head of state currently in office, or rather will he have lived up to the building and the challenges of the historical political perspective, since his mandate will soon end in 2025, and a new presidential election, of which we cannot prejudge either the results or his candidacy, will be organized in October of the same year? To answer this question, we say no, it was not, and we say it with regard to the two tables that are constructed and the historical political perspective. Indeed, and first of all in terms of pure building management, he was unfortunately not a good manager because everyone knows that to govern is not only to plan, but also to decide, to execute. or have it done, controlled, and finally sanctioned, when it has not been done. Paul Biya has never been a practitioner and a follower of these rules which are nevertheless the foundation of the good direction of all human affairs. He has unfortunately favored governance by ambush and delegation in a country which is still in reality like a sapling needing a guardian to grow straight and tall. A country where governance by proxy and by high instructions should not take place and could not turn out to be anything other than incongruity and political nonsense. And in terms of historical political perspective either, he could not be the man for the job given the conditions of his arrival in power. There was therefore no question, apart from the current issue of good accounting and administrative management of current building affairs, that we expected it to work miracles on the more complex level of vision and perspective. political in the historical sense of both terms.

MAURICE KAMTO, CABRAL LIIBI, JOSHUA OSIH

If the choice of Cameroonians falls on one of its three presidential candidates, will they be up to the challenges of the building or the historical political perspective? The answer to this question requires that we first begin by reversing the terms of the problem. Rather than talking about the men first in this case, and making everything else depend on what they are worth, we must talk about the mission that they will be called to fulfill and see why they would be capable or not to do so. This mission has a political and historical component, and an individual component which relates to managerial capacity. And on a managerial level, it raises the question of the competence of applicants to be temporarily capable of managing the accounting, material and administrative affairs of the country. We have objectively no reason to prejudge the incapacity of the three men to be able to bring this aspect of things to a successful conclusion. On the level of the historical political perspective on the other hand, where it is a question of leaving hitherto beaten political paths to resolutely commit Cameroon to the path of true independence which could even objectively lead if it were really necessary, at the break with the West, the East and Asia, one could on the other hand doubt it. Not as we said above, for the intrinsic abilities of each person, but because of the draconian sovereignist and patriotic demands that the noble mission to accomplish requires. Indeed, there is the problem of the mission to be discovered, but there is also concomitantly the problem of the men who must objectively be up to the task of fulfilling it. The first term of this duo does not go without the second and vice versa. This is why we question the political dispositions and the real desire to be able to change the systemic situation of the neo-colonial State, rather than the managerial skills of these three men who, to our knowledge, do not have on a practical level things not had in the past, nor connections, nor assumed and proven proximity, with the patriotic camp. And what is more, after Paul Biya, they will still not have participated directly in the initial struggle, nor in its continuation by his heirs of the UPC. Men who should carry on their shoulders the heavy burden of straightening out Cameroon which is not only completely and absolutely in a material and moral state of marked and advanced disrepair, but which is also going through again, after the dramatic political events that it has experienced in the 1950s-1960s at the time of its accession to independence, not only on the political level, but also on the economic and social level, a new strong zone of turbulence.

THE NEED FOR A POLITICAL TRANSITION AFTER PAUL BIYA

After all of the above, what is the solution, could we ask ourselves? The solution in our humble opinion should be found by all Cameroonians from all political, civil and confessional horizons, in a consultation which must necessarily open after the departure of Paul Biya in 2025, the establishment of a POLITICAL TRANSITION in Cameroon.

And why the urgent need for this political transition already advocated in 2016 by the emeritus and late Commander Kissamba who even ran for the 2018 presidential election? Quite simply because the “common good sense” so dear to our English-speaking compatriots would dictate that when we get off to a bad start as was the case for Cameroon in 1960, following the establishment of ‘a regime whose central role by definition was only to perpetuate the colonial order, and then for more than 60 years, the management of this anachronism was poorly managed, the least of things and the right practical sense of the latter requires that we stop to at least take stock of the progress, before then getting back on the road for a new cycle and a new departure. And moreover, the transition which is essential to all and which we advocate, will open up to Cameroon and its populations, all the fields of possibility. It does not prohibit anything to anyone, and even allows those whose one and only ambition is to simply govern in the sense of an alternation and not in that of a political alternative. Nothing being written in advance, everything will be decided during this period, the expectations and timing of which we will define together.

And as we move inexorably towards the end of the year 2023 to begin 2024 which finally announces 2025, the year of the big turning point that Cameroon could take, for the feast of New Year’s Eve, I wish all citizens of the world who will once again do me the great honor of reading me, a very happy new year 2024!!!
