All the details on “Let’s calm down”: Thierry Henry responds to the PSG hype surrounding Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and their attacking trident Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe started the season with energy. In just seven Ligue 1 games, the team have scored a whopping 25 goals and don’t seem ready to slow down anytime soon.
However, Thierry Henry is not very impressed with Parisians and has warned against the hype surrounding Messi, Neymar and Mbappe.
Speaking to CBS Sports (via PSG Talk) after PSG scored three Champions League goals to stage a comeback against Maccabi Haifa, the Arsenal legend explained:
“Let’s calm down. The way they set up the 5-2-3 team with these guys next to them, Leo falls and these guys run, it’s hard to defend. Really hard to defend.
“I would like to see when they will play against a better position. We saw him a bit against Juve, but you can see that Juve are going through a difficult moment but are doing what they should. “

His words may not be as important to the trio at the moment as they led the Parisians to two wins in their Champions League group, including a 2-1 win over Juventus. Where they struggled to deliver an impressive offensive threat last season, Messi and his teammates seem to have found their connection on the pitch.

Lionel Messi has already recorded four goals and eight assists in nine appearances this season. The striker has scored seven consecutive goals in his last five games in all competitions and appears to remain in top form for PSG.
Mbappe is no different as the spirited striker scores the most goals for the team. The world champion has scored three goals in his two Champions League games this season.
He continued in Ligue 1 in the same form, with seven more goals in six appearances. Especially without an assist on his behalf, Mbappe appears to have left the game for teammates, but his contribution to his goal remains impressive.

Neymar has found surreal form for PSG this season and in the offensive trident the Brazilian international is arguably the most impressive player. Neymar was a major defensive threat in the French league and Champions League with nine goals and seven assists in just nine appearances.
The three forwards hope to continue scoring extraordinary goals for the Parisians and perhaps even lift an unprecedented Champions League trophy.
