Call of Duty on Switch? The president of Microsoft would like

One of the best-selling franchises in history could make the leap to one of the best-selling consoles in history. The joke tells itself.

A few weeks ago the video game industry was shaken firmly. Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard for almost 70,000 million dollars, a real outrage. Many wondered what was going to happen to a company so in the eye of the hurricane due to the controversies that occurred around it… But Microsoft only thinks of putting it back on the cusp of development. And be careful because the president of the North American company, Brad Smith, has assured that he would like to see Call of Duty on Nintendo Switch.

In a conversation with the CNBC picked up by Eurogamer, the executive assured: “We would like to bring Call of Duty to Nintendo devices. We would like to bring the other popular Activision Blizzard titles, continue their availability on PlayStation and start them on Nintendo.”

It should be noted that the purchase has not yet been made effective: it still has to go through a series of bureaucratic procedures that have not been approved. However, everything seems to indicate that, once it is achieved, the Call of Duty saga on Switch will be a reality rather than a wish.

At the moment, on PlayStation “it stays”

Do you remember the photo of Piqué and Neymar with the title “he stays”? That time it went wrong, but now, with Call of Duty, it’s gone right. Just a few days ago we learned that the franchise was not going to become exclusive to Xbox, something that was strongly feared after the agreement.

Now, there is not only the possibility that it stays on PlayStation but that it launches on Nintendo Switch. With the huge number of consoles it sells, it would seem sensible to me. Time will tell if we end up shooting the Nintendo hybrid or not.
