Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 4 Will Launch Tonight

The Season 4 download is going to be large. In order to reduce the overall disc space that MW and WZ take up, we’re compressing a bunch of assets. Once installed, the S4 launch will only take up an additional 4GB on consoles for all of the new content.

Fortunately, Williams also said that the “patch” would compress certain files installed on your console or PC. In the end, the update should add only about 4 GB to the game, barely saving it from passing the 200 GB mark.

Still a little less than 195 GB for a single title, it starts to eat up a lot of space on a PS4! A chance that Infinity Ward is aware of this and is now trying to rectify this …

Recall that the launch of season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was originally scheduled for June 3 but was postponed due to protests in the United States following the tragic death of George Floyd.

Activision then mentioned that it was simply “not time” to upload new content.
