Call of Duty: Modern Warfare free on weekends

With the free weekend from Friday (April 24th) to Monday (April 27th) developer Activision wants to give the players of the Battle Royale mode Warzone insight into Modern Warfare.

Just under four weeks ago, Activision made Modern Warfare’s online multiplayer mode available to anyone interested free of charge for a few days, and it will be again this weekend. Five maps are available: Hideout, Talsik Backlot, Hovec Sawmill, Aniyah Incursion and Shoot House. All cards can be played in 6vs6 or 10vs10 mode. The action starts on Friday at 7 p.m. and ends on Monday at the same time. To take part in the free weekend, all players who already have Warzone installed on their preferred platform only have to wait for the right patch – which will probably be tough. All other players can download Call of Duty from the Blizzard Launcher (PC) or the respective Game Store (PlayStation 4 and Xbox).
