As previously announced, Treyarch reveals new details about the Fireteam: Dirty Bomb module in Call of Duty Black Ops – Cold War.

In the multiplayer Fireteam: Dirty Bomb mode, we will go crazy with a team of up to 40 players on two “large-scale maps” – as stated by the developers. Players will run in 10 teams of 4 people.
The goal of the teams in Fireteam: Dirty Bomb is grabbing enriched uranium packets and detonating bombs. First we need to find enriched uranium on the map and then load it into the explosives to be successful (and thus create “dirty bombs”).
Detonating the bomb will trigger in Call of Duty Black Ops – Cold War emission of radioactive radiation. If we stay in its area longer, we will gradually lose strength, until the character dies.
Fans of Call of Duty Black Ops – Cold War will be able to try this mode during the next beta phase, which will run from October 15 to 19.
