Call for projects 2023 – Culture and health – Medico-social establishments

This call for projects is part of the agreement (article 4) Culture and Health in New Aquitaine 2021-2023.

Through this call for projects, the ARS, the DRAC and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region intend to promote support for cultural projects as part of a co-construction approach at the initiative of a medico-social establishment. The medico-social establishment must present a project in connection with an artist or a local cultural structure, the medico-social staff, their audiences (users, young people, residents, etc.).

The medico-social establishments concerned are structures welcoming young people with disabilities (IME, IMP, IMPro, IEM, ITEP, SESSAD, etc.). Projects involving other audiences/inhabitants of the territory (“youth”, social, educational structures, associations, etc.) will be given priority.

The context of the health crisis since 2020 has severely affected medico-social establishments, young people, staff, and cultural actors but has not prevented projects from being carried out by adapting as best as possible to the situation.

The ARS, the DRAC and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region wish to encourage and support in this way the teams of the establishments and the cultural structures which will engage in dynamics of cultural openness, access to culture and social ties.

Helping to build the collective, federating, instilling innovation, dreams, emotion, opening up to others, so many essential issues which are, in the period that we we are going through, more than ever, a real challenge, for patients, residents, staff, families, and cultural actors.

Also, we invite you to think collectively, to invent new forms of projects where living together is achieved, as the philosopher Cynthia Fleury encourages us to do.

The projects are to be sent only in dematerialized form, to the 3 partners, before March 17, 2023.
