Caisse Desjardins des Rivières de Pontiac unveils the image of its new building on rue Hérault in Fort-Coulonge

The Caisse Desjardins des Rivières de Pontiac has published, via their Facebook page, the plan of the new service point which will be located on rue Hérault in Mansfield-et-Pontefract. The director of the Caisse, Stéphane Labine, gave details on the services that will be offered to members and organizations in the region.

“It will combine design and functionality at the same time, it’s a building that will be very, very modern at the cutting edge of what Desjardins can offer. At the same time, what has been a concern from the beginning is that we really want to provide a safe and confidential environment for our members and our employees. That’s the big, big priority. […] I really want to thank the members who at some point even showed up at an extraordinary general meeting, they gave confidence to the board of directors. »

Electrical terminals have been installed and should be operational shortly, at the end of the work so as not to interfere with the construction site, which will be active in the coming weeks. Bonneville Industries has entered into an agreement with Desjardins to construct the building, which should be delivered this spring. Stéphane Labine indicates that several modules must be delivered and that work will be done inside thereafter.

“Everything is in order right now, our deadlines are being followed very closely. I would tell you that the building is going to be built by Bonneville Industries. This is a first for Desjardins; we reached an agreement with Bonneville Industries. I don’t want to say it’s a prototype, but this building is the nature concept found at Bonneville Industries. Besides, I think it’s their 60e birthday. You see the commercials on television, the building looks a bit like that. Lots of wood, it’s very very glazed, so very very airy. The building is built within two weeks in a factory because they work on 2-3 shifts. Subsequently, it is in the spring that the building will be delivered to the site. We, the land will be developed in the spring. Thereafter, there will be interior work to arrange all that. There will still be a lot of work to do inside. The building should arrive in 7 modules as we see the houses sometimes arrive on two trucks. »

The old building located in Fort-Coulonge has been subject to a sale process, the outcome of which should be known soon. Note that the Caisse also wants to highlight the heart of the village of Fort-Coulonge and that ideas in this direction, such as bicycles made available to visitors could be offered to the new building.
