Cairo Festival City organizes “The Ultimate Rise” event to raise awareness of the importance of mental health

Cairo Festival City, a subsidiary of Al-Futtaim Real Estate Group, a subsidiary of the Al-Futtaim Group, organized the “The Ultimate Rise” mental health event at The Marquee Theater, affiliated with the Al-Futtaim Group. The events included several lectures on various topics to promote mental health, as well as spread awareness of the importance of mental health and encourage people to talk about their fears and psychological disorders within Egyptian society, which prevents many from seek help. This event is part of the Al-Futtaim Group’s enthusiasm to play its role in community work, especially when taking into account the fact that mental health is an integral part of public health.
In this context, many mental health experts and specialists, including Ismail Fouad Qassem, entrepreneur and human relations and life skills consultant, Ayman Ismail, Chairman of the Board of Al Ahly Sports Facilities, Dr. Hisham Hegazy, Professor of Psychiatry and Psychiatrist at Baheya Foundation, Dina Shaaban, Director of Fitness and Events at Ignite Egypt, and Louly Akram, mental health activist, moderated panels on various topics including the pursuit of happiness, ways to support health mental health of employees at work, anxiety and depression in cancer patients and reduce shyness when the need to seek psychological help and to control the mind and body. During the day, fitness instructor Farah Nofal offered participants a free yoga session to increase mental and physical energy.
Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Baheya Foundation has provided free vouchers to visit the Foundation in order to perform the necessary medical tests for early detection of the disease.
For his part, engineer Ashraf Ezz El-Din, managing director of Al-Futtaim Real Estate Group, said: “The organization of the” The Ultimate Rise “event is in line with the demands of the World Health Organization. to take care of the mental health of individuals by dedicating a World Mental Health Day in the month of October each year. Through the event “The Ultimate Rise”, we wanted to focus attention on the need to sensitize the community on the importance of health and normalize the request for help from specialized doctors when they feel the need, so that each individual can carry out their tasks and duties, as well as establish healthy relationships in the surrounding community. This is part of the enthusiasm of Al-Futtaim Real Estate Group in providing support and educating people to make mental and psychological health care a top public health priority, as people those who enjoy balanced mental health have a better chance of living a safe and happy life and have greater opportunities for creativity and innovation, which help them achieve their goals and communicate with those around them in a more positive way.
