The Cairo Drinking Water Company announced a water outage in some areas affiliated with Heliopolis networks (the entire Sheraton – the Arab Forum – the Military College), and some areas of Nasr City (Administrative Control – Ard Al-Golf – Ramo Housing – Logistics and Catering – Rabaa Investment – Al-Tawfiq Housing – City). Star – Sixth District) and some areas of the Tenth District (Tenth District – Al-Waha – Saqr Quraish – City of Hope).
The company said, in a statement today, Thursday, that this will be from ten o’clock in the morning on Saturday, January 20, 2024, until twelve o’clock in the evening on the same day.
The company attributed the reason to the work of rerouting a 1,200 mm diameter water line on Abdul Hamid Badawi Street in front of the Military College.
The company called on the owners of bakeries and hospitals in the aforementioned places to meet their water needs during the outage period.
