Cahors. Vaccine doses: the hospital with a freezer at – 80 °

This December 24, at the beginning of the afternoon, the Cahors hospital center received the delivery of a freezer at – 80 °. The device is intended to store the doses of the anti-Covid Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine.

This delivery takes place first to ensure phase 1 of the vaccination strategy defined by the public authorities. This phase 1 concerns the vaccination of elderly people accommodated in nursing homes (accommodation establishment for dependent elderly people) and USLDs (long-term care units). A departmental organization will ensure delivery to establishments in the Lot, depending on the number of elderly people who have agreed to be vaccinated.
