Endenich The light went out in Hohenich at noon. After a defect and a cable fault, the power is now back.

There was a power cut in Bonn-Endsich on Saturday from around 12 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. As SWB Energy and Water announced via Facebook, there was a malfunction in the medium-voltage network.

BonnNetz initially worked on a defect on a 10,000 volt line. “In a switching point of a transformer station, an electrical flashover occurred in the medium-voltage line at an end closure. An area between Alfred-Bucherer-Straße and the Längenicher Ei is affected, ”said the SWB.

Around 5 p.m. an additional cable fault was found. This resulted in consequential faults in the medium-voltage network. The rest of the work continued until 9:30 p.m. However, the error analysis could not be finally completed.
