BVC negotiated this week an amount greater than 48 billion bolivars

Caracas.- In the week of August 10 to 14, 2020, the amount traded on the Caracas Stock Exchange totaled 48,827 million 617,102 bolivars. During the period, 1,241 purchase and sale operations were carried out in which 598 million 024 thousand 873 company shares were traded. While in the term market, deals were completed for an amount 8,885 million 398 thousand 403 bolivars, as a result of the transaction of 10 million 996 thousand 027 shares.- In fixed income instruments for 27 thousand 473 million 024 thousand 373 bolivars were traded in 52 operations.- The main index of the Caracas Stock Exchange, IBC, opened the period at 466,698.66 points and closed it at 497,343.88, with a variation of 30,645.22 points, which meant a variation of (+6.57 %) in 5 trading days, compared to the previous week.-

The Top 10 of the most traded shares in the week are made up of the shares of Corporación Industrial de Energía (Bs 15,830.39 million), Caracas Stock Exchange (Bs 8,548.12 million), Banco Provincial (Bs 6,836.23 million) ), Domínguez & Cía. (Bs 3,847.86 million), Mercantil Servicios Financieros class A (Bs 3,007.97 million), Banco Nacional de Crédito (Bs 2,695.96 million), Mercantil Servicios Financieros class B (Bs 2,159.16 million), Ron Santa Teresa class B (Bs 1,207.73 million), Fondo de Valores Inmobiliarios (Bs 1,133.73 million) and Envases Venezolanos (Bs 911.42 million).- They are followed by the shares of Ron Santa Teresa (Bs 687.46 million), CANTV class D (Bs 491.95 million), Fondo de Valores Inmobiliarios class A (Bs 355.28 million), Corimon CA (Bs 225.52 million) , Banco de Venezuela (Bs 221.65 million) and Proagro (Bs 175.06 million, among others.-
