Launch announcement PlayStation 5 planned to be carried out soon this month. Launch from IGN Southeast Asia, step Sony it’s still ‘cryptic’, because there’s a possibility that the announcement will focus more on the price and release date of the console.
Nevertheless, PlayStation fans can entertain themselves by joining online streaming at the ‘State of Play’ event which will be held on Thursday (6/8).
This event is designed not specifically for PS5, but will focus on third-party games, including games on PS4 and PS VR.
“We will notify fans when pre orders will occur. This certainly will not happen with a one-minute notification,” PlayStation Marketing and Marketing Head Eric Lempel said on Tuesday (4/8).
Lempel understood how enthusiastic the fans were, but he asked fans not to overdo it in waiting for the PS5 release. Because, it would not want to surely launch it soon.
“So, please, don’t feel like you have to go outside and line up, until you receive official notification about how the game works,” he continued.
Launch Tech RadarSony in the first quarter of this month produced quite a good performance in its business. Sony managed to sell more devices than any other rival.
This also goes hand in hand with the pattern of people who are fond of buying console games during the corona virus pandemic (Covid-19) as it is today.
Recently, Sony showed off the form of PS5 which incidentally will become a rival of the Xbox Series X made by Microsoft. PS5 is available in two variants namely Digital Edition and 4K Blu-ray which the price has not been revealed by the company.
Nevertheless, a number of game activists predict that the PS5 price will break up to 499 US dollars. The price is considered reasonable because Sony did a lot of innovations in their latest game console devices.
Questioning the price of the PS5 Digital Edition variant, analysts predict that this variant will be cheaper than the 4K Blu-ray because Sony does not embed a drive (hard disk) even though it is supported by qualified components such as SSD 852GB and AMD Zen Zen 2 core eight CPU and AMD RDNA GPU 2
In addition, PS5 said Sony will be supported by more than 4,000 titles, including the game line in PlayStation 4. The games are scheduled for release this year and 2021.
