The time has finally come. According to rumors, a new delivery of the PlayStation 5, the new generation game console from Sony, is expected next week at Belgian and Dutch retailers. The last delivery dates from mid-December.
Getting the new PS5 turns out to be extremely difficult. Since the launch of the game console in November, gamers worldwide have been looking for the latest game console from Sony. The device turned out to be so popular that it only turned out to be sold out after a few minutes. Moreover, the devices appear to be frequently bought up by bots to resell at a higher price afterwards.
Partly because of this, gamers in the Benelux have been in the highest state of alertness for weeks, waiting for a new load. Previous delivery early December

Good news came from Mediamarkt on December 16. For example – unexpectedly – a new shipment could be received from Sony, allowing them to deliver a lot of pre-orders faster. Since then, it has remained deafeningly silent about new deliveries of the PlayStation 5.
Next week finally new cargo
Because the customer services of the Belgian and Dutch retailers are silent in style, the main focus was on a delivery across the Channel. Because with the previous delivery – in December – the United Kingdom received the deliveries the day before.
In the United Kingdom, gamers could already order through various web shops before the weekend, the British retailer GAME placed a new shipment online on 19 January. This means that it will also be the turn of the Benelux very soon.

According to an insider on the Telegram channel PS5 Chat will there be such 7,000 sets expected in the Netherlands and Belgium. 650 pieces would already go to the Belgian Dreamland to go. Also the Dutch Intertoys can expect 240 devices, the source said via the Telegram channel. Those deliveries were to take place on January 26.
No customer would be known yet for the other 6,000 aircraft. It therefore seems that a new load is expected at all Belgian and Dutch retailers early next week. The devices would already be in the European Union. If the rumors are correct, it would therefore be a fairly large delivery for the Belgian and Dutch market.
Those who have not yet placed a pre-order can contact Bol.com and Amazon.nl. There the devices are put on free sale. Although it can also wait a little longer at Bol.com, because they still have to complete a reservation list – because a number of customers had not received a PS5 at the previous sale, but had bought them. Deliveries at Amazon.nl depend on its German counterpart Amazon.de, according to rumors on PS5 Chat they would expect delivery by the end of next week.

PlayStation Direct: Purchase directly from Sony
There is more good news. Sony is planning the opening of a European PlayStation Direct store, a web store that already exists in the US and where you can buy games, accessories, but also game consoles directly from Sony. Sony is currently looking for one responsible for PlayStation Direct EU, that employee will be working from London. This will make it possible to buy a PS5 directly from Sony, and presumably much larger numbers of PS5s will be directly available for the European market via PlayStation Direct.
