Citezen consists in the creation of 2 dedicated high level service bus lines (BHNS) that will serve 7 municipalities (Hayange, Serémange-Erzange, Florange, Terville, Thionville, Yutz and Basse-Ham) in the Thionville-Fensch conurbation. This project includes the development of 2 engineering structures to cross the Moselle, the SNCF tracks and the canal. 27 buses with 100% electric motorization will run on reserved lanes, will serve 67 passenger stations and 3 relay car parks: P + R in Hayange, P + R in Basse-Ham and P + R in Metzange and includes the construction of 1 new maintenance and storage site.

200 000 000 €

The total cost of the Citezen project is estimated at around 200 € m, part of which will be self-funded by Smitu (Joint Syndicate of Urban Transport) up to 35 860 000 €, part of which is funded by State and Grand Est aid up to 16 860 000 € and 143 000 000 € remaining will be by loans contracted in particular from the European Investment Bank (€ 100,000,000).
