Buryats ask Biden to help them break away from Russia – Politics – tsn.ua

Activists from Buryatia, Tatarstan and Mordovia appealed to US President Joe Biden.

They ask for help for their peoples to disconnect from Russia because of the brutal war in Ukraine.

About it informs Idel. Realities.

Activists on the occasion of the annual Captive Nations Week, which has been held in the United States since 1959, sent an open letter to Joe Biden. It talks about helping the three Russian republics secede from Russia. The letter notes that due to poverty, men from Buryatia are forced to go to war against Ukraine, where they are essentially cannon fodder.

“War is all that Moscow is able to offer the guys from the Buryat villages. To die like cannon fodder in another war of conquest by the Russians. I don’t want such a future for Buryatia and my people,” said Buryatia activist Rajana Dugar-DePonte.

The letter also notes that the peoples of Russia have become hostages of the bloody Russian regime. They face either death in war or prison.

The League of Free Nations (LVN), which unites representatives of the “peoples enslaved by the Kremlin”, declares that it will seek independence from the Russian Federation. In order to draw attention to themselves, they plan to organize actions in major US cities.

“Today we are in the same position as Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania or Latvia 40 years ago. We will seek decolonization,” said Irshat Habi, an activist from Tatarstan.

Recall that after a powerful hit by HIMARS, half a thousand Buryats fled Ukraine.
