The Ampera Restaurant building, located on Jalan Soekarno-Hatta, Bandung City, West Java, was flattened to the ground by the red rooster.
Head of Operations for Blackout of the Bandung City PB Diskar Yusuf Hidayat said that the building material for this restaurant is flammable because it is made of wood.
“At 12.55 we received the report on the Ampera fire. We immediately went down to the UPT post for the eastern region, but it’s a shame it’s already big,” he told reporters, Thursday (12/1/2023).
About 11 fire engines were deployed to the scene to put out the fire that had completely burned down the restaurant building.
“11 cars,” he said.
“We mobilized aid from the south and north. 13.15 WIB the fire was extinguished,” he said.
Almost the entire building of this restaurant is made of wood and bamboo.
“The material is flammable, the Ampera Restaurant is made of wood, the speed of the fire and the wind triggers the fire. It burns out completely,” said Yusuf.
