Will the German championship be decided at the beginning of February? The German Football League has announced the exact schedule for match days 19 to 23. And it was decided that the two best teams in the Bundesliga would compete against each other at the top of the game.
League leaders Bayer Leverkusen welcome defending champions FC Bayern on Saturday, February 10th. The teams face each other at 6:30 p.m. Leverkusen are still undefeated. If they continue to score as consistently as before, Bayern will have to win in a direct duel to take over the top spot.
The Munich team have so far scored a strong 38 points after 15 games – but the Werkself are even better with 42 points from 16 games. The FCB has so far hoped in vain for mistakes. The first leg ended 2-2.
On February 26th, Bayern will play at VfL Bochum on Sunday (5:30 p.m.), and on March 1st they will play at SC Freiburg on Friday evening (8:30 p.m.).
