Bundesliga »News» Sandro Wagner takes over coaching post

Former national soccer player Sandro Wagner started his coaching career with the former Bundesliga club SpVgg Unterhaching as a youth.

According to “SID” information, the 33-year-old will take over the club’s U19 team from summer, which is currently number one in the A-Junior Bayern League. First the “Bild” newspaper reported on Wagner’s new job.

The former striker ended his professional career after a last stint at Tianjin Teda in China last year. Since then he has been working as an expert at the streaming service “DAZN” and is doing his A license as a trainer. He should receive this in the next few weeks.

Wagner has also been working as a forward coach in the DFB youth division since autumn.

The former Bundesliga professional (including Bayern Munich) lives with his family in Unterhaching. He is supposed to sign with the Munich suburb club for two years.
