The German Football League has granted all 36 first and second division clubs the license for the coming season.
However, some clubs have to meet conditions in the 2022/23 season. The DFL did not say what kind of conditions it was on Friday.
With a view to the financial criteria and thus the liquidity for the 2022/23 season, conditions were replaced by conditions in the licensing process against the background of the continuing economic uncertainties – due to the corona pandemic. They must be fulfilled by September 15, 2022. In general, financial, sporting, legal, personnel-administrative, infrastructural and media-technical criteria are checked in the licensing process.
