Bayern Munich’s footballers stepped up to defend their title in the German Bundesliga with a smooth 6-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in Friday’s 1st round match.
The guests on the ground of the winner of the European League excelled in the first half, when they managed to score five goals. The Senegalese striker Sadio Mane, who came to Bayern in the summer from Liverpool, was also on the scoresheet. Jamal Musiala scored two goals for the winners.
