TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – BUMN Minister Erick Thohir deactivated the President Director of PT Taspen Antonius Kosasih, in the aftermath of the alleged fictitious investment corruption case at Taspen for the 2019 fiscal year which is currently under investigation by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

Erick Thohir conveyed that the Ministry of BUMN is committed to continuing to act professionally and transparently, it also respects the legal process currently being faced by PT Taspen (Persero).
“The Ministry of BUMN always respects the legal process, including the one currently in force regarding the corruption case at PT Taspen. “This case occurred in the period 2016 to mid-2019,” said Erick Thohir in Jakarta, quoted from Between Friday, March 8, 2024.
In line with this statement, the Ministry of BUMN deactivated Taspen’s Main Director Antonius NS Kosasih and was replaced by Taspen Cost Investment Director Rony Henityo Aprianto as acting acting director.

Meanwhile, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) announced that the investigation into the alleged corruption case involving fictitious investment at PT Taspen had begun.
“It’s true, following up on public reports regarding alleged corruption which is under the authority of the Corruption Eradication Commission, the process of collecting evidence is currently being carried out regarding the investigation into alleged corruption in fictitious investment activities at PT Taspen (Persero) for the 2019 fiscal year,” said Head of the Corruption Eradication Committee, Ali. Fikri at the Red and White Building, Jakarta, Reporting from Antara, Friday 8 March 2024.
Ali added that the alleged corruption case also allegedly involved several other companies. To date, the KPK investigative team has named a number of parties as suspects in this case.
However, in accordance with anti-corruption agency policy, the identities of the parties named as suspects along with a complete description of the case will be provided when the suspect is detained.

Citing various sources, Antonius Nicholas Stepanus Kosasih was born in Jakarta on July 12 1970. He graduated with a Bachelor of Economics at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in 1992, and continued his studies majoring in Financial and Investment Management at the Indonesian Management Development Institute (IPMI) and graduated in in 2006.
Before becoming President Director of PT Taspen, Antonius Kosasih has been trusted to hold strategic positions in other BUMNs several times, such as directors at PT Inhutani (Persero) and PT Transportation Jakarta or Transjakarta in the 2014-2016 period, President Commissioner of PT WIKA Realty from 2016 to 2017, Finance Director of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk in 2016 -2019, to Investment Director of PT ASPEN (Perseri) in 2019-2020.
Based on data from the official LHKPN website, Antonius is recorded as having total assets worth IDR 32.58 billion as reported on May 1 2020.
