Since the start of the health crisis, the Covid-19 screening center at the Mâcon hospital center is located in the ambulatory center car park. This drive, which was one of the very first in France, allowed a large number of inhabitants of Mâconnais to perform a PCR test and thus to know whether or not they were infected with Covid-19.
From Monday, this drive will leave the parking lot. The service will be relocated indoors. Indeed, because of the low outside temperatures, the working conditions became particularly difficult for the agents.
From now on, the screening center will be located at the same location as the vaccination center for hospital staff , at the entrance of the establishment, just before the main entrance to the hospital.
As a reminder, to perform a PCR test at the Mâcon hospital center, you must make an appointment in advance on the hospital website.
