Development Kampung Gembira Gembrong in East Jakarta using infaq and alms funds during Eid prayers at JIS raises questions. Deputy Chairperson of the DKI DPRD from the Gerindra faction, Rani Mauliani, questioned the non-use of APBD in the revitalization.
“Development of Kampung Gembira if it is deemed necessary, why is it not planned to use APBD money, for example,” Rani said when contacted, Saturday (2/7/2022).
According to Rani, infaq should be used for more specific things in the needs of the poor. According to him, some of them are assistance for taking certificates for children who are held back to social assistance (Bansos).
“Maybe it’s actually okay, it’s just that I personally think that infaq matters, maybe I think it can be used more specifically for the needs of people who can’t afford it, who need help,” said Rani.
“For example, for children whose diplomas are still being held back due to payment arrears, so far they can be assisted through Baziz. So maybe if the infaq can be donated there so that it can increase the quota for diploma redemption assistance, or maybe to other social assistance,” he continued.
Rani assessed that village development should be carried out using the APBD and other fund allocations.
“In my opinion, for development, it should use the APBD allocation budget or other fund allocations, for example, CSR assistance,” he added.
