BTS’s Jungkook And Suga Make Spotify History As “7 Fates: CHAKHO” OST Breaks Record For Biggest Debut By A K-Pop Solo Artist

The new OST of “7 Fates: CHAKHO” by Jungkook from BTS produced by Suckcontinues to make history on music charts around the world!

On February 11, Jungkook released the new song “Stay Alive” (produced by Suck) for the webtoon soundtrack and original web novel by7 Fates: CHAKHO” from BTS.

On the first day of its release, “Stay Alive” set multiple records on international iTunes charts. After becoming the fastest song by any Korean solo artist in history to reach No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in 80 different regions and swept the No. 1 spot on iTunes Top Songs in all eight of the world’s largest music markets , the song eventually reached No. 1 in a total of 93 different regions in just 24 hours, a new record for Korean soloists.

In addition to all those achievements, “Stay Alive” has now made history on Spotify as well. The song racked up an impressive 4,273,772 streams on its first day, achieving the most first day streams for any song released by a Korean solo artist on Spotify.. (The previous record belongs to “On The Ground” by Rosé de BLACKPINK, which racked up 3,262,615 views in its first 24 hours).

In addition to breaking the record for the biggest Spotify debut of any song by a Korean solo artist in terms of first-day streams, “Stay Alive” has also set a new record for Korean solo artists by entering the Global Top 50 daily chart. Spotify at No. 3.
